It is a trip I look forward to every year. Fabled water, the serenity, the landscapes…it is the only water that haunts me. Precise casts laid up underneath over hanging limbs and dark undercut banks are challenging. Difficult fly drifts are rewarded with fat slabs of rainbow joy.

It has been a fun Spring. I chased Tiger Muskie and got some nice shots of Casey Birkholz and Travis Ruiz.

As you can see I have been spending a lot of time shooting macro. I am continually learning and dialing in my setup. This evening I was able to catch a few mayflies un-dressing ;)
