Fisherman’s Tailgate

I took this shot of Casey & Brika over the weekend. It is a classic example of a fly fisherman’s tail gate. Gear is scattered and piled in the back of the truck. Over the years I have had many fishing vehicles. The tailgate has always been an essential part of the fishing experience. I have tied countless flies on the make shift table top, it has been the bench were I have put on and taken off my muddy waders. Seeing this moment with Casey and his pup “Brika” I was able to reflect on all the good times I have had at the back of the fishing mobiles.
