pac 10 went 5-0 in bowl games against all the “big conferences” and the utes dominated alabama…
if texas beats ohio state tonight, it seems to me there are a whole bunch of sports writers, announcers, coaches, and one really screwed up computer that all have egg on their faces. div 1 college football rankings are a joke.
i loved how barry switzer and jimmy johnson were sitting there in the pre-game show saying not a single player on the utah team would have had a chance of being looked at by a team like alabama coming out of high school and that the utes just couldn’t match up across the line of scrimage.
then at half-time, switzer was trying to re-spin what he said, and johnson just sat there shaking his head in embarassment. at least johnson knows when to shut up and take his lumps.
